The Meander Dam is 170 metres from abutment to abutment and 50 metres from upstream toe to downstream toe. Gross storage capacity is 43 000 ML.

Huntsman Lake
Huntsman Lake was formed following the construction of the Meander Dam. Enjoy a picnic, canoeing, shore fishing, boat fishing, swimming, mountain bike riding and horse riding in this area.
the Lake is a wild brown trout fishery reserved for the use of artificail lures and fly fishing only.
Walls of Jerusalem
The Walls of Jerusalem National Park is an alpine wilderness dominated by dolerite peaks and alpine vegetation. Stands of pure pencil pine forest and cushion plant are set high on a plateau of glacial moraines, tarns and lakes.
Pine lake
The Pine Lake walk offers a rare opportunity to get close to one of Tasmania's rarest trees without having to go on an extended bushwalk. The pencil pine is an ancient species that evolved before flowering plants. It is only found in the Tasmanian highlands.
