Hadspen

Hadspen

Hadspen is a delightful township on the banks of the South Esk River. It has a mix of modern homes that are popular with young families, and wonderful colonial buildings dating back as far as 1820. One notable historic building in Hadspen is the Red Feather Inn, a sandstone building that was one of the first coaching inns in Tasmania. It was built in 1844 by John Sprunt and is said to be haunted!
