AGFEST

There is something for everyone at AGFEST, from farm machinery displays and fine Tasmanian foods, to craft pavilions and fashion parades. Each May, Carrick plays host to AGFEST, one of Australia’s biggest agricultural field days. The three-day event is staged by the Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania and is held at Quercus Rural Youth Park on Oaks Road between Carrick and Bracknell.

Tasmanian Craft Fair draws the crowds

The Tasmanian Craft Fair, held annually over four days concluding on the first Monday in November, is the largest working Craft fair in the southern Hemisphere. It's held in picturesque Deloriane, classified by the National Trust as a town of historical significance, on the banks of the Meander River.

Wood Chopping

Horses and poultry, wood chopping, home industries, side shows and many other attractions. Come one, come all to the Deloraine Show and celebrate Tasmania’s primary industries and enjoy the breeder competitions, industry displays, side-show rides and show bags.

Kids area at Forest Festival

The Jackeys Marsh Forest Festival is a celebration of the diverse forests of the Great Western Tiers through art, music, walks and workshops. The festival is an intimate, regional, family friendly Tasmanian event with a sustainable living focus.

Westbury Showgrounds Grandstand

The Westbury Agricultural Show is one of Tasmania's oldest local shows

See the animals, watch the horses in the showground, and enjoy a rural experience.

With the first show held in 1889, The Chudleigh Show is one of Tasmania's oldest shows. An annual event, showcasing and promoting the local agricultural industries. A genuine agricultural show with a focus on creating a great family day and showing the best of what the local area has to offer.
The show is held each February.

Deloraine Showground Market

Deloraine Market offers a great selection of stalls with fresh produce including venison, farm rabbits, sour dough breads, home cooked cakes, honey, jams, farm vegetables and fruit in season.

The Westbury Market is held on 3rd Saturday every month at the Anglican hall across the road from the Village Green at Westbury. From 9am - 2pm, a BBQ fires up with hot food and you can browse the many table containing freshly grown vegetables, home made products, plants and lots of other goodies.
