Liffey Falls

Experience World Heritage on your doorstep at Liffey Falls, one of the most stunning natural wonders the Great Western Tiers region has to offer.

Two separate walking tracks allow access to the falls, each departing from a different car park and picnic area.

The walk from the upper car park offers developed picnic facilities and a shorter, higher grade walking track (45 minutes return). However visitors must note that this car park is not accessible to buses and caravans. The alternate track, which departs from the lower car park and is accessible to larger vehicles, has only minimal facilities and a longer, less developed track (2-3 hours return).

Visitors to Liffey Falls are advised to wear sturdy walking shoes or boots, sun hat, sun block and clothes to suit the weather of the day. Visitors must also note that heavy rain and cold weather can occur in any month and pets, firearms and bicycles are not permitted in the reserve.

The road into Liffey Falls is accessed via the C513, and can be approached from Deloraine, Bracknell or Great Lake.
