12:00 PM / Jacob Boote

Based on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Jacob is a raw performer specialising in 1920s-30s blues, calypso, and swing.

If the name sounds familiar, you may have seen him at Ten Days on the Island, Cygnet Folk Fest, Devonport Jazz Fest or the Forth Valley Blues Fest. Over the past decade, Jacob has performed solo, as a duo (Jacob and Laura) and as the front man for The Boote Leggers.

He is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, with his talent extending to a range of stringed instruments, including bazooka, banjo, charango, tipple and the Tibetan nose whistle. Jacob is sure to wow you with his authentic and captivating talent.

01:30 PM / Colin Lillie

This Scottish singer-songwriter released his debut album Glass Homes in 2016 and won the AU Review people’s choice Australian Artist of the Year award. In early 2020, he released the Mark Lizotte (DIESEL)-produced Petrichor EP and his second album, Shades of Love, in July 2021.

You don’t have to delve deep into Colin’s lyrics or the heart of his voice to know his songs are driven by all the shades of life’s experiences. This is supported by his 2017 and 2019 awards for Best Live Voice at the National Live Music Awards. His songs have also been placed in the Hollywood production Adam starring Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) and the new BBC production Wakefield.

Pre-2020, Colin was well on the way to becoming one of Australia’s hardest touring artists, supporting the likes of DIESEL, BUSBY MAROU, JAMES REYNE, and THE ANIMALS. Colin also performed 5 shows at the 2019 Woodford Folk Festival and made it to New Orleans in early 2020 for the Folk Alliance International Festival.
