Overview
Location & Directions

Description

Bay of Fires Chalet provides luxurious scenic accommodation at Binalong Bay on Tasmania's sunny East Coast. You may not want to leave home but there are many marked bush trails, uninhabited beaches for swimming, snorkelling and diving opportunities, and fishing.

Description

The chalet consists of spacious living on the ground floor and a children's retreat in the loft above. There are two living areas, two bathrooms, a laundry and the spacious kitchen provides every convenience for large families and groups. There are four bedrooms with two queen size beds and four single beds, accommodating up to eight guests. The house has natural Tasmanian timber floors and many windows are full length to afford the best views. A widescreen TV with Austar, Blu Ray player and DVD Library are provided for entertainment and convenience. A wood-fired freestanding heater will keep you cosy on cool evenings. Out on the expansive deck you can cook on a new stainless steel gas barbecue with wok burner or a wood fired barbecue that doubles as an outdoor fireplace. Binalong Bay is approximately two and a half hours drive (177 kilometres/110 Miles) from Launceston, and a short eight minute drive from St Helens.
