WONDER @ WILDWOOD...

Join us for a stroll through the Wildwood Nature Reserve in Deloraine to see what flora and fauna can be discovered.

This is a free citizen science event for the community to participate in the 2025 Great Southern BioBlitz (Tasmanian Project).

The Great Southern BioBlitz is an exciting global event all about encouraging our community to explore and record nature in full springtime bloom across the Southern Hemisphere.

Using the free and user-friendly iNaturalist app, it’s a fun way to connect with others, discover local plants and animals, and grow awareness of the incredible biodiversity around us.

Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary!

Hosted by the Wildwood Nature Reserve Landcare Group, who will be running a working bee at the same time.

Meet at the Wildwood Reserve entrance at 10am.
(turn right after entering the Deloraine caravan park and park at the gravel area)

Bring your phone or camera, a water bottle and a sense of wonder!
Wear weather appropriate clothing, a hat and sturdy shoes.
BYO picnic to enjoy afterwards.
