School Holiday Hunt at Deloraine & District Folk Museum

Event Details: Hunt for a hidden Folk Museum token and redeem it for a bag of chocolate coins during the school holidays.

Event Details: In the 1850s, grocer Thomas White of Westbury commissioned trade tokens for use in his store due to a shortage of small change in the colony.

Event Details: These unofficial coins were redeemed for goods, and we’ve hidden a limited number of tokens throughout the museum.

Event Details: Be quick – once they’re gone, the hunt is over!

Event Details: Ask at reception to view a token before you begin your hunt.

Event Details: Terms & Conditions apply – the hunt runs until all tokens are found, with one token redeemable per student.
