Note: Due to the replacement of the bridge over Western Creek, Montana Road will be closed to all vehicles. Road closure will be in place from Wednesday 11 January to Tuesday 31 January 2023. Northbound traffic can access an alternative route via Long Ridge Road (200m north from Montana and Cheshunt Road intersection). Southbound traffic can access an alternative route via Mole Creek and Dairy Plains Roads.

Montana Falls is located in the Long Reach Regional Reserve in Montana, a short 10 minutes drive from Deloraine.

The falls are are reached via a short and relatively flat track through Eucalyptus, Banksia and Blackwood forest. The track has been recently cleared and rerouted away from private land. Please be sure to stick to the marked track.

Why not head to nearby 41° South Salmon Farm for a bite to eat, a coffee, beer or wine after your walk.

Time: 40 minutes return.

Grade: 2: Suitable for most ages. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle uphill section or sections of occasional steps.
