Carol (2015), directed by Todd Haynes, is a beautifully crafted romance set in 1950s New York, following the relationship between Therese, a young aspiring photographer, and Carol, an older woman going through a difficult divorce.
As their connection deepens, the film delicately explores love, identity, and the constraints of the era.
Elegant, restrained, and emotionally rich, Carol is a visually stunning and deeply moving story of longing and courage.
Director: Todd Haynes
