Sustainability | 41° South Salmon Farm

41° South Tasmania is a unique tourist attraction located in the UNESCO approved Tasmanian World Heritage Area. A 45 minute drive from Launceston or Devonport brings you to the salmon farm, ginseng nursery and wetlands near Deloraine. They offer free tastings and a small licensed café is located at the farm where light lunches are available. 

Great Western Tiers Events | August 2021

Mike Elrington will be performing at Marakoopa Cafe in Mole creek on Sunday August 1 at 12.30. Listen to this gifted singer songwriter with incredible guitar skills while dining in the cosy cafe beneath the Great Western Tiers.

Kooparoona Niara is the Palawa (local aboriginal) name for the Great Western Tiers and means ‘Mountains of the Spirits’.

Mole Creek Stories

The Mole Creek Stories project was a volunteer project undertaken in 2017 which captured authentic stories from the Mole Creek Community in four short films. The films were produced by six participants of the Tasmanian Leaders Program; David Pyefinch (Madfinch Creative Video Production), Susan McLeod, Prue Horne, Stuart Loone, Chris Griffin and Theresa Hay.
