Tuesday mornings from 10.30 - 12 Seppenfelts will be holding a weekly Cuppa Morning talking on all sorts of inspiring topics, complete with hot refreshments. Check out the August schedule below.

In the mood for some tunes? Cycles at The Empire Hotel are hosting their monthly Celtic Night on Friday 6th August from 7pm with music by the celtic players. Book a table and enjoy a meal by the fire.

If local history is more your thing, head to the Chudleigh General Store from 6pm to recount tales of old and get-together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

On Saturday August 7th from 9am - 1pm make a beeline to the Showgrounds for the Deloraine Market. Enjoy hot coffee and tasty foods by the open fireplace and browse the indoor stalls.

Later that night the Big Gig for takayna will be rocking it at the Little Theatre in Deloraine. Celebrate takayna/Tarkine with an upbeat night of music and a hearty supper. The concert will feature some of Tasmania’s finest musicians including Daniel J Townsend, Claire Anne Taylor, Half Way To Forth and Runaway Belles. Cycles at the Empire will be hosting the Deloraine Heat for the 2021 Australian Poetry Slam on Sunday 8th from 6.30pm. Book a table for dinner to ensure a seat for this event. Ph: 6362 1029.

Valley Events presents another Kids Disco at @Meander Hall on August 14. This a fancy dress disco (90'S), there will be a parents lounge, prizes and a DJ. Doors open 6pm. This event is free, but bookings are essential https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/kids-disco-tickets-164052893621.

Saturday August 21 is the day for markets! Head to Mole Creek Memorial Hall and/or the Anglican Church at Westbury from 9am-1pm and grab a bargain.

Later in the day, TSO LIVE & ON SCREEN is happening again with Beethoven's Symphony No 1 and Brandenburg Concerto No3 @ the Little Theatre from 4-6pm. Tix $15 at the door.
